Seed Pot
What if the objects we gave made life instead of taking it? What if we valued transience over longevity? What if we designed for the more-than-human world as generously as we do for ourselves? What if instead of striving to do the least harm, we aimed to do the most good? The Seed Pot emerged from these musings. The unfired clay and potting mix vessel provides a place for seeds to germinate within it’s walls. Once the sprouts are ready to transplant, the decorative vessel has completed its functional cycle- placed in the dirt, it becomes one with the soil while the plant grows onward- life begins anew.
